Mr. Pasang was born in a place called Gyabla which is in the far North Eastern part of Nepal, perched in the foothills of Mt. Kanchenjunga (the 3rd highest peak of the Universe).
This place is very well known as the land of sacred mountains and it is mostly dominated by the Buddhist people who long time back have migrated from Tibet.
The people here are nomadic herders and farmers which is their prime source of income, and the most amazing thing is there still exist the bizarre ancient system of Trade "Barter system".
Mr. Pasang has spent all his childhood as nomadic herders and grew up in the shelters of Himalayan giants. It was a decade ago when a group of western trekkers camped at Gyabla village where he got the inspiration to travel and see different places. Later on he ran away from home to Kathmandu with another group of trekkers and there his life as a Trekking and Mountaineering guide/sherpa began.
It has been more than a decade now since he is working in this industry of trekking and mountaineering and until now he climbed many Himalayan giants namely:
1) Everest - 7 times
2) Kanchenjunga - 6 times
3) Cho-Oyu - 3 times
4) Amadablam - 5 times
5) Baruntse 3 times,
6) Mt K2 Summit 1 summit one failure due to adverse weather condition.
7) Manaslu 5 times, and many more
