In Kathmandu: We will be staying at the Shanker Hotel (4 star). This charming historic palace has a huge peaceful garden with a pool and is just on the edge of the main tourist area, Thamel.
It is safe and clean and well staffed, and is a safe place to leave your clean town clothes and other gear when you are in the hills. There are many restaurants in Kathmandu catering to western tastes as well as plenty of local Dahl Bhat (rice and lentils) shops at very reasonable prices. Depending on your early booking the trip, we might need to accommodate you in similar or higher standard hotel in Kathmandu due to business.

On Teahouse Trek: Generally along the regular trekking areas have developed well facilities available teahouse lodges. Which are mainly used by trekkers walk along the trail, however some are very cozy and comfortable and some are basic standard. Grand Himalaya will accommodate you as best available lodges en route along the journey and your lodge room will be provided bed, pillow blanket. If you are using your own personal sleeping bag is always recommended to bring with you.
Foods at local teahouses are hygienic and usually delicious which are prepared by using local agro-products. They offer a variety foods, for breakfast, Toast, different styles of eggs, pancake, porridge, Muesli with milk, and other creels, For lunch and dinner, variety of potato, different curries, rice, noodles and pasta, pizza, spring roll, Nepali food and others food, as well as soup and seasonal vegetables. They also use some from market which are not possible to grow up there and produce locally.

On Camping Trek: Generally along the regular trekking areas we have our own clean and spacious camp sites. We always try to camp away from the crowded site to a cozy solitude premises.  Each and every client will have their own tent unless there are couples or they wish to share the tent. Tents are all equipped with mattresses and a ground sheet for preventing cold.
This classic style of trekking are especially carried out in the isolated areas of Nepal, well furnished with the entire camping equipments along with the fresh food.
Our well experienced and qualified chefs will serve you with the Nepali versions of western recipes such as Italian pizza and pasta, American French fries and sandwich, Indian and Nepalese veg. curry rice, Chinese friend noodles and steam dumplings, Sherpas mix stew and Tibetan bread, and so on. Hot drinks, snacks, soup and desert are also in the list of our special menu. French toast, cornflakes, muesli, chapatti, scrambled and sunny side up fried eggs, accompanied by tea variety and fresh coffee are in the hit lists of our breakfast. And of course Nepali milk tea is served every day.

On Expedition: Above the Base/Advance Base camp we’ll provide you the best brand tent like Ozark and Mountain Hardware tent.
It’ll be the climbing Sherpa's responsibility to set the different high camps.
On the high camps we eat easy to prepare food, often prepared by the Guides/Sherpas with assistance from the team. American and Australian Back country food and choices of Indian instant food are what we provide you e.g. freeze-dried foods, crackers, cheese, soups, hot drinks, snacks, chocolate etc.

Drinking water: will be provided at camps (collected with care, filtered, treated with chemicals and/or boiled), and at lunch time where possible. It is wise to carry a small amount of purifying chemicals (e.g. Iodine or chlorine) with you, in case you happen to need water at an odd time. In the developing world care should be taken to avoid untreated water and potentially contaminated foods like uncooked salads and some fruit. Bottled water is available in cities, but of course you can treat tap water in your own bottle too.
